The Aero Precision X15 Gen 2 is the stripped AR-15 lower of choice for many nationwide shooters. With improvements for ease of installation, plus functional upgrades like a flared magwell, this upper is a cut above its competition, especially for beginners. These lowers include a unique Cerakote finish in OD Green, Burnt Bronze, or Sniper Grey and are paired with an easy-to-install winter trigger guard in matching colors.
Gen 2 Improvements
- Upper Tension Screw – This allows users to fine-tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon-tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver.
- Increased Magwell Flare – Allows for easier insertion of magazines and provides a sleeker look.
