This Aero M5 AR-10 lower receiver version features an American flag engraving on the magwell, and other patriotic engravings for model and serial number. Plus, you’re still getting all the great features of the M5, including a rear tension screw, threaded bolt catch pin, and a flared magwell for your rifle caliber magazines.
This lower receiver is perfectly designed to match the Aero Precision M5 .308 Assembled Upper Receiver and DPMS Gen 1 pattern components, including magazines and upper receivers.
Durable Construction & Reliable Design
This Aero Precision M5 .308 Stripped Lower Receiver is machined from lightweight 7075-T6 Aluminum and finished with a matte black hard-coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 finish ensuring extreme resistance from wear and corrosion.
Complete this lower receiver using the Aero Precision M5 Lower Parts Kit for best results. It is specifically designed to work with the M5 Lower Receiver and includes custom takedown, pivot pins, and an extended magazine catch button.

- Works with standard AR 308 components and magazines
- Upper Tension Screw – This allows users to fine-tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon-tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver.
- The rear takedown pin detent hole is threaded for a 4-40 set screw
- The bolt catch is threaded for a screw pin (no roll pin needed)
- Integrated trigger guard
- Selector markings will work with 45, 60, or 90-degree safety selectors
- Accepts Battle Arms Development short throw safety selectors but will work with any standard selector
- No gap with aftermarket pistol grips
