Section 14.1.6 Swivel Sleeve and Swivel Lock
Section 14.1.7 Foregrip Group
Section 14.1.8 Cocking Group
Section 14.1.9 Barrel Group
Section 14.2.1 Recoil Mechanism

Removing your barrel without completing Sections 14.1.1 – 14.1.9 first will damage your barrel.

Suppose you have purchased a Tavor® SAR barrel and right-hand bolt kit. Following the proper installation steps is essential to ensure correct assembly and avoid any damage or safety issues. Here are the instructions provided by IWI US, Inc.:

  1. Headspacing and Bolt Replacement: The barrel and bolt kit come headspace from the factory and should be used together. It is crucial to replace your bolt when replacing your barrel 1 2 3 4 5. This ensures that the headspace is correct and prevents any potential catastrophic failures of the barrel and bolt, which could result in property damage, personal injury, or even death.

  2. Check Local and State Laws: Before assembling your Tavor® SAR with the new barrel and bolt kit, it is essential to check your laws regarding firearm assembly and modifications. Compliance with these laws is crucial for legal and safe firearm ownership 2.

  3. Installation Steps: To install your Tavor® SAR barrel and bolt kit, please refer to the following sections in your Tavor® SAR manual:
