The 5.56x45mm NATO-chambered semi-automatic rifle has a 16-inch, 1:7 RH, button-broached, and chrome-lined barrel. Like its select-fire big brother, the M4A1, the UID-labeled lower receiver has an ambidextrous selector switch. The selector and charging handle are both ambidextrous.
